Ijams Bird-Abouts are monthly field trips that highlight special birding locations in and around the Knoxville area, and the birds that call them home. This month, we are heading to Fort Loudoun Dam to experience birding around one of East Tennessee’s most prominent features, dams. We will be searching for gulls, rafts of ducks, and any other birds that we can find while exploring how dams affect habitats. Join us for a fun morning walk full of birds.
