(All ages) Ijams Nature Center is celebrating national moth week! Moths are some of the most diverse insects on the planet with over 11,000 species in the United States, and we know very little about many of them. We will spend the evening attracting, collecting, identifying, and photographing moths. This is a chance to have some fun, take a picture or two, and contribute to science! You may even discover a new species. This is a Drop-in event so come and stay as long as you would like.

Please note that pets are not permitted during night programs.

The Visitor Center closes at 5 pm, so participants will not have access to the gift shop or concessions.

The fee for this event is $6 for  Ijams members and $8 for non-members. EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 2 MUST HAVE A TICKET. To register online, visit our Eventbrite page. Members can enter the discount code “MOTH” to receive their discount.

To register by phone, please call (865) 577-4717, ext. 110. Payment is required within 48 hours or your spot will be released.

REFUND POLICY: Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the event start date.
