Image may contain: outdoor(All Ages) There’s nothing like a little DIY crafing to get birds of a feather flocking together- in your own backyard! The DIY for the Birds series will provide you with the materials and know-how to make your yard a true bird sanctuary. This month, we’ll be making suet for suet feeders. Winter is here and the days are COLD! Our backyard birds have to eat often during the day to build up enough fat to survive the longer cold nights. Suet is a tasty way to provide your feathered friends with the extra calories they’ll need to stay warm. It is simple and inexpensive to make, and a fun project when you’re stuck inside. So join us and learn how to “Suet Yourself!”

The fee for this program is $10 per person, and includes all the ingredients and materials to make your own suet cakes to take home. EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 2 MUST HAVE A TICKET.
