BIRD ABOUT: Migratory Birds at Sharp’s Ridge

April 20 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

$10.00

RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 10 AND UP

Ijams Bird-Abouts are monthly field trips that highlight special birding locations in and around the Knoxville area, and the birds that call them home. This month we are heading North to Sharp’s Ridge Memorial Park. Mountain ridges act like highways for our spring migrants, and are perfect places to catch glimpses of these colorful warblers. Come have some fun practicing how to identify these birds by sight and sound. These programs are for birders of all experience levels and binoculars are provided if you don’t have your own.

LOCATION

Sharp’s Ridge Memorial Park at the Firebreak Overlook.

REGISTRATION

The fee for this program is $10 per person. Ijams members can enter the code RIDGE for a $2.00 discount. EVERYONE MUST HAVE A TICKET. Registration ends on Thursday, April 18 at 5:00 p.m. Register HERE.

If you have any questions please contact Jeremy Clothier at jclothier@ijams.org or call (865) 577-4717 ext. 127.

CANCELLATION POLICY
