(All Ages) Ijams Wild Families programs create outdoor experiences for families, just minutes from the heart of the city! Our naturalists will lead you in fun and exciting ways to learn more about the world around you while spending quality time with your family! Spring is the season for frogs and toads, so we’ll take around the park and learn more about their calls and songs. Amphibians are important indicators of ecosystem health, so we’ll take a closer look at how Citizen Science research is contributing to national conservation efforts. We’ll even use our nets to see if we can find tadpoles in the ponds! So whether you want to learn about how important frogs and toads are in the environment, or just want to learn more about the interesting spring sounds, this hike is for you! The fee for this program is $8 per person. EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 2 MUST HAVE A TICKET.
