Bats & Moths: Ijams After Dark

Discover Ijams after dark during this experiential adventure! Bat and moths have been intricately linked in our culture, and especially in evolutionary history. Join an Ijams naturalist to learn how to identify various bat species as they fly overhead, and witness the moths and other critters attracted to our blacklight stations!

Ages: This program is designed for ages 10+

Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 mile during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.

Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. Refund Policy: No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams only awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
