Due to illness, the macramé plant hanger workshop with Craft Appalachia will not be happening as part of BFT on Tuesday! As the summer heat holds on, it is a great time to come out to the quarry to enjoy some music from Jonah Tran and a novice bike ride with AMBC for the September Big Fun Tuesday.

About the Event
Ijams and Appalachian Mountain Bike Club invite you to another year of Big Fun Tuesdays (BFT) at Mead's Quarry! These events happen every first Tuesday from May-October (second Tuesday in July due to the holiday!). BFT is a night to hang with your friends, hit the trails on your mountain bike or on foot, rent a paddleboard or kayak from River Sports Outfitters, or simply enjoy great local music! This month features the music from Jonah Tran!
(DUE TO ILLNESS THE CRAFT PORTION OF BFT WILL NOT BE HAPPENING) This month, we have added in some crafty fun to our Big Fun Tuesday lineup with Craft Appalachia. There will be a walk up Macrame Plant Holder Workshop happening all night that you can join in at any time and it is a pay what you can class.
Also, The Plant Trolley will be out with a full array of delightful plant buddies that you can either add to your plant hanger or get to spruce up your home!
AMBC will also be holding a BFT Novice Group Ride as part of this evening as well. Sign ups will start at 6pm and ride will begin at 6:30pm. It will be a 6 mile ride (approx. 1 hr). Click HERE for more details. The festivities at Mead's Quarry will happen between 5:30-8:30pm.
Tanasi Food Truck will be on property with all the delicious dining options this month and the Ijams concession area and beer garden will be open for food/drink needs. This is a FREE event for all ages. Grab your friends and family, and come to the quarry for fresh air and fun!
