CANCELLED -- CREATIVE SERIES: En Plein Air Drawing & Painting Workshops

Join the directors of the Museum of Infinite Outcomes on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Mead's Quarry for one or both of these all-inclusive en plein air drawing and painting classes. 

SEE! DRAWING FROM LIGHT, 1-3 pm  Practice seeing the wild landscape while sharpening your drawing skills. The class begins with a fall hike around the picturesque Mead's Quarry Lake followed by exercises in observation and drawing. Working in black and white, you'll focus on light and depth. Each participant will make multiple sketches with a final long format drawing.

All supplies are included. Tickets are $50 for this two-hour class, or $100 for both classes. Pre-registration is required. 

This is an all-levels course; no previous experience required, but experienced artists are welcome! 

Ages 16+ are welcome. Participants under 18 years old must have an accompanying adult. This class is outdoors! Jackets, gloves, hats, and even a blanket are recommended.   

SEE! SUNSET WATERCOLORS, 3:30-5:30 pm  The world around us is always in flux. Painting the fall sunset is an excellent practice in observing the ephemeral.  First, you'll be hiking around the sparkling Mead's Quarry Lake, exercising both your legs and eyes. In this full-color watercolor class, you'll learn basic painting techniques and work en plein air to make a unique watercolor composition.

All supplies are included. Tickets are $75 for this two-hour class, or $100 for both classes. Pre-registration is required.
