CREATIVE SERIES: Homemade Beauty: Balms and Salves

On February 18 from 1-3 pm, come out and learn all about creating your own homemade beauty lip balms and salves in this fun hands-on workshop with Kristin Webber, owner of Chicken Librarian.

Lip balms are great for gift-giving and are easy to make. Salves can also be given as gifts but are also good to have on hand for cuts, scraps, and dry skin. Both balms and salves use three simple ingredients but can be used to make a variety of products. 

Participants should be prepared to stand for the duration of class and will be working with hot oils and beeswax. Each student will leave with at least 2 balms and 2 salves. Students will also learn about the benefits of creating homemade beauty products and where to purchase ingredients. No experience is required.

(For those participants who took the Herbal Infusions workshop in January, feel free to bring your infused oils to this workshop to put them to good use if you would like!)
