CREATIVE SERIES: Paint and Plant with an Owl Workshop
This one-of-a-kind workshop will begin with a meet-and-greet introducing Stevie, the Eastern Screech Owl, followed by a beginner-friendly painting and craft lesson to create your very own owl pot! You’ll then get to plant the pot in class (plant included).

Join Hannah Doss of Mountain Mama's at Ijams on Sunday, August 11th from 2-4pm to meet, learn about, and make a planter of Ijams' animal ambassador, Stevie the Eastern Screech Owl!
This one-of-a-kind workshop will begin with a meet-and-greet introducing Stevie, the Eastern Screech Owl, followed by a beginner-friendly painting and craft lesson to create your very own owl pot! You’ll then get to plant the pot in class (plant included).
This is an all-levels course. Whether you're a crafting newbie or professional artist, you won't want to miss out on this unique crafting experience! Tickets are $50 for this two-hour class. All painting and planting supplies are included. Preregistration is required. Limited to 30 participants! Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is included. Please check in at the Front Desk inside the Visitor Center to receive 1 complimentary parking pass per registrant.
