About the Event
Join The Big Camera at Ijams Nature Center on April 30 starting at 10am for an informative workshop to learn how to make your own Pinhole Camera, shoot and develop multiple photos, and learn what you need to keep creating at home! You'll learn how a Pinhole Camera is really just a tiny version of the Big Camera trailer, and you'll step inside the big camera obscura to develop your prints.
This workshop is for teens 13 years old and up. Each person attending does have to pre-register for the workshop. Tickets are $75 each and you will take home your camera at the end of the day. Ijams and A1LabArts Members get a $15 discount to this workshop (membership is verified before workshop date.)
Following the paid workshop, The Big Camera will remain at Ijams from 1-2 PM, and workshop participants are welcome to keep shooting. All images shot on April 30th will be included in the online Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day gallery!
