Early Morning Birding: Fall Migration

Take your first (or tenth) flight out of the nest and into the world of fall migration! With an Ijams naturalist, you’ll learn how to bird during an approachable, fun-filled morning hiking on the trails, identifying a myriad of bird species by sight and sound. This program is great for complete beginners and bird enthusiasts alike!

Ages: This program is designed for ages 14+

Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 2.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points.

Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. Refund Policy: No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams only awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
