Geminid Meteor Shower - Guided Night Program

Witness the marvelous Geminid Meteor shower during its peak, with a potential for 120+ meteors per hour! Go hiking with Ijams naturalists, uncovering midnight wonders of the woods while taking breaks to talk all things stars, constellations, and the beautiful night sky! While the full moon will prove to be fierce competition for this year's meteor shower, the Geminids are luckily extremely bright (and who doesn't love to frolic under a full moon, anyhow?).

This program is held outdoors in its entirety; please dress for the frigid temperatures! Gloves, hats, and warm drinks are encouraged! 

Ages: This program is designed for ages 16+. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5  miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping…
