Ijams Fall Owl Prowl

Geared Toward: Adults and Families with Children aged 10+

Description: As the days grow short, you don't need to stay up late to find our nocturnal animals. Join an Ijams Naturalist as we head out on the Visitor Center Trails in search of Owls. Screech owls, Barred owls, and Great Horned owls are all on the table. As we walk we will learn about these creatures, their habits, and even how to call like an owl.

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear closed-toe shoes that are okay getting muddy, water, weather appropriate clothing, and a flashlight.

Information to Note: This is an evening walk and participants will cover between 1 and 2 miles.

No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable
