Ijams Owl Prowl (Family Program)

Geared Toward: Adults and Families with Children ages 10+

Description: Night holds many types of exciting animals, but none as magical as the owls. Join an Ijams naturalist and head out on the Ijams trails in search of owls. Screech owls, barred owls, and great horned owls are all on the table. As we walk, we'll learn about these creatures, their habits, and even how to call like an owl.

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear closed-toe shoes that are okay getting muddy, water, weather appropriate clothing, and a flashlight.

Information to Note: This is an evening walk and participants will cover between 1 and 2 miles.

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
