About the Event
Join the Tennessee Stage Company as they presents their 33rd Shakespeare Festival, in cooperation with Ijams Nature Center, of Knoxville Shakespeare with a lively performance of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare *Abridged.
Doors open at 7:00pm; Show Starts at 7:30 pm.
The performances will be held in the open field in front of the Visitors Center of Ijams Nature Center, located at 2915 Island Home Ave, Knoxville, TN 37920, just a short drive from downtown. Lawn chairs and/or blankets are recommended. There is an indoor space at Ijams Nature Center where performances will move in case of rain and where the matinees will be performed. No coolers or outside alcohol allowed.
Ticket for this performance are Pay-what-you-can.

Children in Knox County and surrounding county school systems qualify for the Penny4Arts Program, which allows these children to come free-of-charge based on these guidelines:
- All children ages 5-15 must be accompanied by a paying adult (age 18 and older) in a ratio not to exceed three children per one adult.
- Proof of Knox and surrounding county residency may be required.
- At least one in a group of up to four students ages 16-18 must purchase a regular adult admission/ticket for the group to be able to participate in Penny4Arts.
- Penny4Arts tickets must be included in your reservation.

Overview of the play:
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare *Abridged is a comedic representation of all the classic plays of William Shakespeare with all of them being performed in comically shortened or merged form by only three actors. This performance is rated PG-13 due to some of the language and subject matters covered in the performance.
