Nature Nuggets: Hike On! (Youth Program)

Nature Nuggets is a program for children 2-4 and their caregivers.

Description: When its cold, Ijams hikes to stay warm. Join us for an hour walking some of Ijams' most fun trails. Along the way we will discover natural curiosities, and learn how to deal with common trail hazards. Get out and walk with Ijams at this month's Nature Nuggets. 

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring water, hats, gloves, sunglasses, snacks, and a hands-free way to carry these items. 

Information to Note: This is an easy hike with little elevation change, and trails can be muddy/slippery when wet. These trails have roots, and are not appropriate for strollers or wagons.

No walk-in’s will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
