Nature Nuggets: Owls (Family Program) 1/27/22

Nature Nuggets is a program for children 2-4 and their caregivers.

Description: Nature Nuggets provides a guided experience for children ages 2-4 and caregivers to gain confidence in the outdoors. This month, we'll get up close and personal with one of Ijams' owl ambassadors. Together we will learn all about these amazing animals, and then test our senses against an owl. Join us for a real "hoot" of a time! This is a repeat of the program on Jan 20.

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should bring closed-toed shoes, weather appropriate clothing, hat, water, snacks, and a hands-free way to carry everything. 

Information to Note: This program is held completely outside rain or shine, and participants should come prepared for an hour in the elements.

Location: This class meets at the Ijams Nature Center outdoor pavilion next to the main parking lot.

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
