Nature Nuggets: Rockin' It! (Youth Program)

Nature Nuggets is a program for children 2-4 and their caregivers.

Description: Nature Nuggets provides a guided experience for children ages 2-4 and caregivers to gain confidence in the outdoors. This month we are exploring rocks! Everyone has picked up a rock and put it in their pocket. Today we will learn a bit more about those rocks, and how to have even more fun with them. 

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothing for hiking, and bring water, hats, gloves, sunglasses, snacks, and a hands-free way to carry these items. If you have a favorite rock, feel free to bring it. 

Information to Note: Nature Nuggets is a program for children ages 2-4 and their caregivers. This program is held completely outside rain or shine, and participants should come prepared for an hour in the elements.

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
