Nature Nuggets: Water Ways (Family Program) (1)

Nature Nuggets is a program for children 2-4 and their caregivers.

Description: Nature Nuggets provides a guided experience for children ages 2-4 and caregivers to gain confidence in the outdoors. This month we'll beat the heat by exploring how water works at one of Ijams' Creeks. We will create boats, build dams, and discover aquatic creatures together.  

Materials Participants Should Bring: Participants should wear clothing that they don't mind getting wet, a change of clothes, water shoes, and a towel. We will be getting in a small creek and getting wet.

Information to Note: This program is held completely outside rain or shine, and participants should come prepared for an hour in the elements.

Location: This class meets at the Ijams Quarry Overflow parking lot and will include time in a small creek

No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Children under 2 years old do not need a ticket.

Ijams awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
