SPECIAL EVENT: Smoky Mountain Blues Society Concert: Throwin' Stones and The Jeanine Fuller Band

On Sunday, September 22th, the Smoky Mountain Blues Society and Ijams Nature Center are partnering again to bring local blues enthusiasts a terrific live outdoor show. This special event will feature two incredible bands, Throwin' Stones and The Jeanine Fuller Band at Ijams Nature Center at 4 pm – 7pm. Gates open at 3 pm.

Throwin' Stones will kick off the show from 4:00-5:30pm and The Jeanine Fuller Band will hit the stage from 5:30-7:00pm.

Tickets cost $20 for SMBS members and $25 for the general public. Doors open at 3 pm and the music will begin at 4

pm. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Food truck and beer garden will be available for this performance.

About the Musicians:

Jeanine Fuller is a vocalist, songwriter and performer from Brooklyn, New York, now based in Knoxville Tennessee. Reared in Fayetteville, NC, as a teenager Jeanine won a national music competition and scholarship, at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and then later Jeanine attended the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in NYC. Jeanine uses her vast musical influences in Soul, R&B, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Gospel and Rock to fuse her eclectic vocal sound. Jeanine draws inspiration from greats like Etta James, Billie Holliday, Sarah Vaughn, Dianne Reeves, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Stevie wonder and most definitely Prince. She appears throughout the Knoxville area and has been featured locally in many festivals, including the Women in Jazz Jam Festival and has worked with many Grammy-winning artists.

With every performance, Throwin' Stones honors the past while forging a bold path forward.
