About the Event
***THIS SESSION WILL MEET AT FORKS OF THE RIVER WMA. If you would like to bird at Ijams Nature Center, please sign up for the other birding session***
Take your first (or tenth) flight out of the nest and into the world of birding during an approachable, fun-filled morning hiking on the trails during Spring migration! You'll learn to identify a myriad of bird species by sight and sound, and discover resources to help with your birding journey, all while using the iNaturalist app to make critical observations and be a community scientist!
All participants are asked to download the iNaturalist app before their workshop date and create a free account. iNaturalist will be a key tool we use during our BioBlitz!
Location: Participants will receive an email 3 days before their workshop date with an exact meeting location - we're trying to cover as much ground as possible!
