About the Event
Have you ever wanted to make the most of your garden in the most eco-friendly way possible? Ijams is proud to partner with CAC Beardsley Community Farm as part of Ijams' Take Action! series to offer a FREE Summer Gardening Series!
Each month, CAC Beardsley Community Farm will host a free gardening class to teach you everything from starting and maintaining your gardening to harvesting and beyond!
The second workshop is June 24 at 6 pm at the Farm (1741 Reynolds St. Knoxville, TN 37921). This workshop will discuss the benefits of growing different types of pollinator and native plants, and includes a hands-on, sustainably-gathered flower arranging lesson. You'll take a short walk around the farm to harvest some blooms before the arranging lesson.
You must reserve your spot in order to participate in this free workshop. If you are not able to attend, please email Sarah Brobst at sbrobst@ijams.org so your spot can be filled by another participant.
ALL WORKSHOPS TAKE PLACE AT CAC BEARDSLEY COMMUNITY FARM. Mark your calendar for all four!
