About the Event
Have you ever wanted to make the most of your garden in the most eco-friendly way possible? Ijams is proud to partner with CAC Beardsley Community Farm as part of Ijams' Take Action! series to offer a FREE Summer Gardening Series!
Each month, CAC Beardsley Community Farm will host a free gardening class to teach you everything from starting and maintaining your gardening to harvesting and beyond!
The third workshop in this gardening series takes place July 22 at 6 pm at the Farm (1741 Reynolds St. Knoxville, TN 37921). Beardsley staff will demonstrate the basics of preserving fruits from the garden. In this hands-on class, you'll learn to make a jam or two, and a freezer apple/pear sauce. YUM!
You must reserve your spot in order to participate in this free workshop. If you are not able to attend, please email Sarah Brobst at sbrobst@ijams.org so your spot can be filled by another participant.
