Students in Preserving the Harvest: Canning 102: Pressure Canning on June 9 will learn about pressure canning and will get hands on experience with and discussion on the safe use of pressure canners. Safe canning procedures, canning equipment, and materials needed and where to purchase will all be covered.
This is an in-depth, hands-on look at water bath canning. Students should wear closed-toe shoes, long sleeve shirts, and expect to be standing for the duration of the class. No experience required.
Tickets are $75 per person and all supplies are included in this 3 hour workshop.
